Reese Ranch Animal Services
offers V.I.P. care for your dog while staying with us. Our
dog boarding facilities are situated a half mile from the road
on our 315 acre ranch. For security reasons, our gate is
kept closed and we are a "by appointment only"
business. This provides your pet with a quiet, safe place
to stay.
Our fully roofed kennels have concrete block walls for the first
four feet with welded wire above to protect your best friend
from the elements and from the dogs next to him. Unlike
block wall kennels, cyclone wire kennels allows dogs to urinate
through to the other dog's area and to "fence fight"
with each other. Cyclone wire kennels also exposes your
pet to sun, wind and rain whereas our block wall kennels shields
them from inclement weather.
Whenever the weather is uncomfortable for your pet, we have
temperature controlled indoor facilities. We provide
plenty of clean bedding and Igloos for your dog's comfort.
For our elderly pets with incontinency problems, we change the
bedding as required to keep them clean and dry.
At this time, we are expanding our facility and will offer even
more kennel runs and outside exercise yards. Our exercise
yards have welded wire tops so no dog can climb out. The
walls are bolted to concrete foundations to prevent dogs from
digging out. We want your dog to be happy while staying
with us, but our number one priority is his safety.
Many of our clients
prefer to bring their own dog food so that their pet does not
have a change in diet. That's fine with us, although we
have several Iams diets available. If your pet is on
medication or has any "special needs", we do not
charge an additional fee for the extra attention.
We also offer boarding for dog breeders that plan to have their
dog bred by artificial insemination. Often, owners
struggle with trying to take time off work to have an AI
breeding or a semen collection, or they need these services over
a weekend or on a holiday. We are here to help if you need
to board your dog while having these services. Bette has
many years of reproduction experience behind her working with
ICSB (International Canine Semen Bank) and working closely with
several veterinary specialists. We offer temporary storage
of frozen semen until it is needed for the breeding, can collect
and ship semen from your dog or provide artificial inseminations
for your bitch. Please refer to the brief articles on my
