ADOPTION PROCESS
If you're interested in owning a puppy from Caravelle Pugs, you
will need to fill out our questionnaire.
This provides us with information about what kind of puppy you
are looking for, as well as the type of home you are going to
provide. Please complete the questions fully and return to
Bette@CaravellePugs.com.
We don't take deposits. Since our goal is
to place our puppies in the best homes possible, we don't want
people to feel obligated because of the money.
Shipping is available, weather permitting. All shipping
charges are the responsibility of the buyer, including health
certificate, (required by the airlines) crate, gas and cost of
airfare. We can give you an estimate of these
charges. Otherwise, you may fly to Sacramento, CA and pick
up your puppy as a "carry-on" for your return
flight.
COMPANION PUPPIES
Puppies sold as a pet or companion will have a limited AKC
registration. This means the dog or bitch CANNOT be used
for show or breeding. All puppies have their dewclaws
removed, de-wormed, vaccinations are up-to-date and puppies are
paper-trained. All puppies are micro-chipped for
identification. Our puppies are sold with a written
contract and a sales receipt. Also included is a
house-training guide, which we strongly recommend that you
read. We provide a vaccine schedule and a five-generation
pedigree along with pictures of the parents, as well as baby
photos for your enjoyment.
SHOW POTENTIAL
A puppy sold as show potential is a promising Champion of
tomorrow and sold with a signed agreement from the buyer that
the dog will be shown in conformation. We only sell show
quality, fully-registered AKC puppies to people that are
currently showing dogs. We may sell to a young
handler provided they have references. These people must
belong to a local all-breed and/or specialty breed club.
If the buyer fails to show this puppy, all written guarantees
and agreements are null and void. Please contact me if you
have any questions regarding our contract.
